Linda Beaman
Linda L. Beaman, 68, of Dixon, Iowa, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at her home following an extended illness. Her celebration of life gathering was held from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. Private family services will be held at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, Taylorville, Ill.
Linda was born in 1944 to Wilbur and Helen Grisham in Ely, Nev. She graduated from Davenport High School in 1962. She married William Beaman on Oct. 27, 1962, in Davenport. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.
Linda was a homemaker and worked at MA Ford Manufacturing in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s.
Survivors include her husband, Bill; a son, Bill Beaman Jr. of Milwaukee, Wis.; daughter, Jane (Russell) Hartwig of Davenport; grandchildren, Cassie, J.D., Grant and Sam; and sister, Dorothy Rowley of Eldridge.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Matthew Hartwig, and a brother, Don Manner.
