I am still trying to understand how they can repeatedly insist that this is “away from residential development” when the proposed site is 500-600 feet away from two homes. Are these two homes not considered residences? Are the families that live in them not considered residents?
As for the site’s only being active part of the year: Is the site going to magically disappear when not in use? Are they going to turn off all the lights and take away all the tanks?
And Timothy Huey says the site would only be active for a few weeks out of the year. We have also been told 120 days–a full third of the year. So which time frame is the truth?
