Lois Foust
Lois M. Foust, 55, of Eldridge, passed away on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Cremation rites were facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center in Muscatine. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at the Scott County Park, Buffalo Bill Pavilion. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Lois’ name. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. The Geo M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Lois’ arrangements and her family.
Lois Marie McCann was born on May 18, 1957, in Monmouth, Ill., the daughter of Tony and Eulalia (Cramer) McCann. On May 25, 1983, she was united in marriage to Dave Foust in Iowa City.
Lois was involved with the North Scott Youth Activity Programs, was an avid Cardinals fan and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Lois will be deeply missed by her husband Dave of Eldridge; two sons, Josh Foust and Ericka, and Jason Foust and Stephanie, all of Davenport; three grandchildren, Taj, Tanner, and Teylor; siblings, Larry McCann and wife Rita of Altoona, Ill., Bob McCann and wife Terri of McMinnville, Tenn., Mary Hoffman and husband David of Kankakee, Ill., Joe McCann and wife Janet of Oquaka, Ill., John McCann and wife Mary Ann of Oneida, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Fred, and one sister, Anna.
