Obituary: Constance Hill

Constance Hill

Connie Marie Hill, 65, of Orlando, Fla., died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at her home. Cremation services were provided by Neptune Society, Orlando.

A memorial and condolences will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Paulsen Manor Clubhouse, Moline.

Constance Irwin was born Oct. 7, 1946, in Moline, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Muller) Irwin, Geneseo, Ill. She graduated from Geneseo High School in 1964. She married Ira Hill III in 1988. He died Aug. 27, 2008.

Mrs. Hill had worked in microbiology at Metropolitan Medical Laboratory, Moline. After retiring to Orlando she worked as a medical aide. She had obtained an associate’s degree as a computer programmer analyst in 1990 from AIC.

Her hobbies were horses, arts and crafts, family and friends.

Memorials made to the family will be directed to the ASPCA.

Survivors include a daughter, Laurie (Earl) Smith, Princeton; a son, Ross Jackson (Charra), Rock Island; stepdaughters, Deborah (Paul) Schroeder, Pensacola, Fla., MaDonna (Chris) Fowler, Indian Mound, Tenn., and Suzanne (Billy) Clemons, Bonaire, Ga.; grandchildren; her mother, Elizabeth (Muller) Irwin; and sisters, Fran (Sam) Vincent, Rockford, Ill., Donna (Jim) Stoltz, Moline, Elizabeth (Ron) Greim, Sneedsville, Tenn., and Marvel (Phil) Sundberg, Eagan, Minn.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Swift, and a brother, Charles Irwin Jr.
