Stanley Muller
Services for Stanley H. Muller, 93, of Walcott, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31 (today) at the Calvary United Methodist Church, Walcott, with Pastor Nick Needham officiating. Interment will be at the Walcott Cemetery.
Mr. Muller died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at the Davenport Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
Stanley Muller was born Aug. 14, 1919, in Scott County, the son of Herbert and Dora (Heuer) Muller. He married Bernice Umland on March 16, 1946, in Davenport. She died April 7, 2005.
The couple farmed in Scott County, near Blue Grass, until their retirement.
Mr. Muller was a member of the church.
His hobbies were playing the accordion with the Stan Muller Band and various other orchestras. He was inducted into the Polka Music Hall of Fame in 1984.
Memorials may be made to the church.
Survivors include brothers, Wesley and wife Verna, and Lee and wife Mary Ann, all of Walcott, and nieces and nephews.
