Patricia Curtis
Patricia A. Curtis, 78, of Long Grove, Iowa, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Visitation was from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church. Burial was in the Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pat was born Oct. 4, 1933, in Prophetstown, Ill. Her parents were Carl and Mary Bodenhofer. She was united in marriage to Ben Curtis on May 4, 1958, in Rock Island, Ill.
She was devoted to her family and she loved attending their many activities. Pat was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church for 53 years. She enjoyed travel and socializing with her many friends.
Those left celebrating her life are her loving husband of 53 years, Ben; children, Marianne (Mark) Seward, Jacksonville, Fla., Susan (Kraig) Rauch, Eldridge, Alan Curtis, Long Grove, and Connie Warner, Eldridge; grandchildren, Erica (Chris) Mullen, Cory (April) Rauch, Alyssa (fiancé Ryan Vretis) Rauch, Tyler (fiancée Katie Shima) Warner, Nick Warner, and Clayton Warner; and great-granddaughter, Lily Rauch.
She was preceded in death by great-granddaughter, Emersyn Mullen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or McCausland Volunteer Fire Department.
