Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt E. Thede
Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt E. Thede, Dixon, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Dec. 11 with a family dinner. They were married Dec. 11, 1941.
Mr. Thede was employed by I.H.C. (Navistar) Farmall Works, Rock Island, and J&J Specialty Machining, Milan. He is a life-member of Roosevelt Lodge A.F. & A.M. Mrs. Thede is a homemaker. She is a 66-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary,Walcott. She also crochets lap afghans for veterans in Iowa City.
They are members of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Davenport.
Their children are Alan and Glen (Deborah Gamber), all of Davenport. A daughter, Patricia Ann, is deceased. They also have nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and six step-grandchildren.
