Kennedy and Horton
Leighton Kennedy of Greensboro, N.C., and Nathan Horn of Cornelius, N.C. are engaged and planning to be married on June 9, 2012. Leighton’s parents are Doug and Virginia Kennedy, Greensboro. Nathan’s parents are Dale and Sandy Marolf, Durant.
The wedding will be held at 4 p.m. at Carrigan Farms, Mooresville, N.C. A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at the same location.
Leighton received a degree in biology/chemistry from Salem College and is attending the University of Louisville School of Denistry. She will graduate in May of 2012.
Nathan received a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa and is currently employed as vehicle dynamics engineering group leader at Earnhardt Ganassi Racing.
