John Blumer
John Blumer will be celebrating his 80th birthday on Nov. 24. He married Sylvia (Jean) Schaeffer on Feb. 4, 1957. She died May 28, 2009.
John worked for several area farmers, the telephone company as a lineman, and retired from Alcoa after 39 years.
John’s children are Terry, Jeanette (Bryon) Amidon, Barb, John (Kathy), and Linda (Gary) Schulte. His grandchildren are Ashley, Kori, Brandon, Wyatt and Morgan.
