Dr. Nick and Molly Cosio-Thiessen, Scottsdale, Ariz., are the parents of a son born Oct. 3, 2011, at 11:11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Phoenix, Ariz.
Joao Xavier weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Grandparents are Don and Jody Thiessen, Long Grove, and Dan and Eva Gerety, and Cary and Kathy Cosio, all of Henderson, Nev.
Great-grandparents are Joann Gerety, Delores Greim and Will Schwartz, all of Davenport; Lupe Silvas, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Jack and Jan Collins, Clinton.
Great-great-grandmother is Edna Crider, Clinton.
