Birds to be honored at 40th anniversary party

Randy and Patty Bird of Long Grove will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Friday, Dec. 2 from 6-10 p.m. at Del’s Eatery & Pub, Eldridge. Their daughters are hosting the celebration. All family and friends are invited to attend the casual event. No gifts, please.

Patty Jones and Randy Bird were married Dec. 17, 1971, in Kahoka, Mo. Randy is a supervisor at LeClaire Mfg. He has been employed there since 1973 after serving in the U.S. Army. Patty is a marking room associate at Von Maur Distributing Center, Davenport.

Their children are Heather and husband Lance Walker, and Hollie and husband Erik Gushanas, all of Davenport. Their grandchildren are Haleigh, Hannah, Mason, Delanie, Shawna, Schuyler, Elexyona and Jasmine.
