Linsey Sue Moffit of LeClaire and Jerry Matthew Tobin of Long Grove were married on Saturday, Sept. 3 at the home of the bride’s parents, Tom and Nancee Moffit of LeClaire. Jerry’s parents are Matt and Inez Tobin of Long Grove. Linsey’s grandmother is Laura Moffit of LeClaire.
Pastor Pat Halverson and Father Drake Shafer officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony.
Megan Osterberg was the matron of honor. The bride’s attendants were Tori Nelson, Beth Davis, Renee Ott, Jessie Kluever, Joy Schneckloth and Amber Ledvina. Flower girls were Mia Nelson, Cora Davis, Elise Nelson and Tinley Osterberg.
Greg Quinn served as best man. Groomsmen were Hobie Stutt, Randy White, Christian Carlton, Paul Ragona, Tony Schneckloth and Chris Paysen. Ring bearers were Tate Moffit, Max Davis, and Connell and Drew Lorenzen. Ushers were Brian Tobin, Josh Tobin, Darren Doerscher and Nate Carlton.
A reception was held at the Waterfront Convention Center, Bettendorf.
Linsey graduated from North Scott High School and the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor’s degree in ag. business.
She farms with her father and is employed by Eastern Iowa Grain Inspection, Davenport. Jerry is also a graduate of North Scott High School. He farms and builds homes for Tobin Bros. Construction.
The couple will honeymoon at Riviera Maya, Mexico, in December. They live in Long Grove.
